ADMONISH
ONE ANOTHER
Now
I myself am confident concerning you, my brethren,
that you
also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge,
able also
to admonish one another. Romans 15:14
[NKJV]
A
"One Anothering" Thought
To
Admonish means:
- to warn
- to reprove mildly
- to exhort
In other words, Paul says that we
believers who are filled with the goodness and knowledge of God
and His word should be able to warn our brothers and sisters in
Christ who might be in danger of making some wrong choices. We
should be able to express our disapproval or rebuke them (mildly and in love) for some
actions that we know are not biblical or honoring to God. We
should be able to urge them earnestly to continue in the faith and
we should be able to advise them strongly about false doctrines or
teachers that might lead them astray.
ONE-ANOTHERING IN
ACTION:
Who can you think of that you might need to
admonish today?
If you know of a brother or sister in Christ
that might need admonishing, ask God to give you the wisdom and
strength to know when and how you might to do this, mildly and in
love.
...Do not count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a
brother.

"One-Anothering"

tell us what we should DO for one another and 6 other

each other
as we focus on the Lord's word and put it into
action.
