FORGIVE
ONE ANOTHER
...and
forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against
another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must
do. Colossians 3:13 [KJV]
A
"One Anothering" Thought
Forgive
means:
- to cease to feel resentment against
- to pardon an offense or an offender
- to cancel an indebtedness or liability of
We
believers should always forgive one another.
We should not hold
onto offenses against one another.
We should pardon one another
and not hold a grudge.
We should not resent one another, but
should settle our differences quickly, so we can walk together
in love.
ONE-ANOTHERING IN ACTION:
Our human
nature will cause us to feel resentments or take offenses, but
God says we are not to walk in the flesh, but in the way of the
Spirit, forgiving one another and loving one another.
Daily,
we must do our best to forgive our brothers and sisters, as Christ
has forgiven us.
...forgive the person who offends
you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive
others. Colossians 3:13[NLT]
