A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–1 Timothy 2:5

This Week’s Memory Verse: 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is an excellent one to memorize as it is a very good verse to use when witnessing to someone regarding salvation.
This verse very clearly states that there is only one God and one mediator between God and men and that mediator is Christ Jesus.
Many times we may find ourselves in situations where we might need to witness to someone who believes there is more that one God, or that there are many ways man can be reconciled to God. This verse can be shared at those times.

As we memorize this week’s verse, let’s give thanks to Christ Jesus for being our mediator and pray for those who don’t yet know Him.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to you daily,

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–1 Thessalonians 5:18

This Week’s Memory Verse:
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

This Week’s Message:
This weeks verse tells us believers to “give thanks in everything for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
That means whatever circumstances we are in we should be thankful because in the end we know God will work all things together for our good. (See Romans 8:28)
So in various trials we should stay in an attitude of thankfulness that we have God to lean on, we should trust that He is aware of our circumstances, we should believe that He is working things out on our behalf.
Staying in this attitude will keep us from discouragement, grumbling, anger and worry, which are all forms of unbelief and therefore sinful on our part.

This week then as we memorize our verse, let’s give thanks daily and also put into practice the verses before and after it.
Each day this week let’s:

  • Rejoice evermore. 1Th 5:16–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Pray without ceasing.1Th 5:17–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Quench not the Spirit.1Th 5:19–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Despise not prophesyings. 1Th 5:20–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.1Th 5:21–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Abstain from all appearance of evil.1Th 5:22–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18

f you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.
It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to all of you daily in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Scripture Memorization–Spiritual Blessings: Deliverance

Ephesians 2:5
This Week’s Scripture:

even when we were dead in trespasses, [God] made us alive together with Christ
(by grace you have been saved), Ephesians 2:5

This Week’s Message:
When something is dead, it cannot do anything, it has no life unless God gives it life.
When something is delivered it is taken from one place to another place. It does not take itself, someone or something takes it.
This verse makes it very clear then, that our salvation was of God, not of ourselves.

When we were spiritually dead, we were destitute of a life that recognized God. We weren’t devoted to Him because we were given up to our sins.
We were not active in doing right according to God’s will, word and way. We were blinded to the truth. We needed to be delivered from this way of life.
We needed to be taken out of the kingdom of darkness and delivered into the kingdom of light. In His grace God did this for us thru Christ.

This week as you memorize this verse, think upon how your life was before Christ and think about how it is now in Christ.
Then, spend some time daily thanking God and Christ Jesus for your deliverance!

May you have a wonderful week as you walk in and memorize the Spiritual Blessings of Christ daily!

This Week’s Memory Verse: on NEEDS

A Precious Promise: about our NEEDS:
And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus  Philippians 4:19 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
Needs are something that are a necessity to life. They are things that are required for us to live.
Our basic needs, then, would be air, food, water, clothing, shelter. We would need some form provision that would give us those things.
Money can be a need, for it does provide us on earth with most of the things we need to live, however, God is the ultimate provider of all our needs,
He has riches that are above money, and He promises us believers, those who are in Christ Jesus, that He will meet all of our needs gloriously!
He can provide the things we need from His riches in heaven–there is no limit with God. So, we believers, should trust Him for our needs.

Memorize this promise and worry no more about your basic needs, for God will liberally supply you daily, and He will do it in ways you cannot even imagine!

What a wonderful God we have! What a wonderful Promise He has given to us!
Let’s claim it and walk in it daily this New Year!

Precious Promise: ANXIETY

Holy BibleThis Week’s Memory Verse:
A Precious Promise regarding ANXIETY
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6,7 [NKJV]

This Week’s Message:
Anxious means: distressed, uneasy, fearful, worried, concerned, disturbed, or apprehensive.

We could be anxious about something bad or even about something good—however, God says we should not be anxious about anything!
Instead, we should pray about everything, giving thanks to God, letting Him know what it is we need.  He promises, if we do this, that we will receive His peace which will guard our hearts and minds.

These are very important and helpful verses to memorize, and ones which we should keep in our minds and hearts daily.
Let’s not be anxious about anything, but pray about everything, thankful for His promise to us, trusting in Him, and we will live in God’s peace as He guards our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

God’s Blessings to you daily as you memorize His word and walk in it daily!
