A to Z-Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Malachi 3:6

This Week’s Memory Verse:
For I am the LORD, I change not;…Malachi 3:6 KJV

This Week’s Message:
“For I am the LORD, I change not”, a comforting statement to us believers.
It tells us we have put our faith in someone we can trust.
We can rest assured what whatever the LORD has said is something we can count on.. We can rely on His promises and count on Him to always be there for us day or night.
We have no need to fear for He will do as He has said, for nothing He has spoken will ever change. What a blessing it is to be His children and live in His love!

Memorize this verse and keep it in your mind daily to remind yourself that you belong to someone you can trust forever! In this ever changing world we live in it is such a comfort to know that our LORD never changes.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might.

Blessings to you daily,

Fear Not Scripture: Genesis 21:17

Genesis 21:17This Week’s Scripture:
“What ails you, Hagar?  Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.” Genesis 21:17 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
The first part of this verse says: And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven,…

This verse shows me:
First of all—God, Elohiym, the Supreme God, the Creator, heard
(perceived, regarded, listened, understood) the voice of Hagar’s child.

Second–That God didn’t just hear, He responded. He sent His angel to communicate with Hagar, the lad’s mother.

Third–It shows God’s concern, his love and compassion. He wants to let Hagar know that He is aware of what is going on in her life and in the life of her child, for the verse says: “God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.”
God wanted to let Hagar know that He knew exactly where she and her son were and that she should not be afraid for God was going to help.

Believers, isn’t this a wonderful verse for us to memorize and reflect upon? Don’t you think that each one of us could substitute our name in place of Hagar’s name in this verse?
Don’t you agree that God would also tell us that He hears our cries just as He heard the lad’s cries? And that He knows just where we are and that we should not be afraid for He will help us? For,  we are His children.

Plus, God not only hears, He sees also.  In Genesis 16:13 Hagar called Him “El-Roi–The God Who Sees Me.”

In Malachi 3:6 God says: “For I am the LORD, I change not;”—since God doesn’t change, should we not expect that He would also hear and see us today?

“Fear Not”—Our God–Elohiym says.  Are we hearing Him?

Blessings to you as you memorize His word and walk and talk with Him daily.
