A to Z–Book by Book Scripture Memorization–2 Kings 17:39

This Week’s Memory Verse: 2 Kings 17:39 NKJV
But the LORD your God you shall fear; and He will deliver you from the hand of all your enemies.

( This is the verse in the KJV for those who have requested to memorize the verses in KJV   But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.2 Kings 17:39 KJV )

This Week’s Message:
This Week’s Verse is telling us that if we stand in awe of, reverence, honor, and respect the LORD our God then He will guard and protect us,
He will snatch us away from the hand of the enemy. He will deliver us from evil and will always be near to rescue and save us from harm.

As we memorize this verse, let’s really take it into our hearts and give thanks and praise to the LORD our God for this and all He does for us.
Let’s be sure that we always stand in awe of Him, showing Him the reverence, honor and respect He is due, not just to seek His protection but because we love HIm.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.  It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might.

Blessings to you as you memorize His word this week and dwell safely in His protective care.

Nuggets of Truth–Scripture Memory Verse–P

Gold Letter PThis Week’s Memory Verse:
Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
Psalm 16:1 KJV

This Week’s Message:
This verse is a Michtam of David. Only two other Psalms are described as such. I believe it is a special poem that David wrote to encourage himself during a time of great need.
The definition of Michtam is not totally known but it is believed by some to mean “golden” or a very bold, special request at a time of great need or during a time of trouble.

“Preserve me” would mean protect me, keep me from harm, watch over me, guard me, and more.
David was speaking to “EL” Jehovah, the One True God. David was telling God that he trusted in Him, that he believed God was near and that God would indeed help him.

I think that this would be a special short verse for all of us believers to memorize as we could recall it to memory in our times of need.

Blessings to you as you memorize His word and walk in it with Him daily.
