Scripture Memorization–Spiritual Blessings: Eternal Glorying

Ephesians 3:10-11This Week’s Scripture:
According to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Ephesians 3:11 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
What was God’s eternal purpose that He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord?  I believe the previous verse, Ephesians 3:10, tells us: that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places

God’s purpose was to defeat evil and reconcile mankind to Himself and this He did accomplish thru Christ’s death on the cross.  Therefore, now, for all eternity we believers can enjoy eternity with God and He can glory in us as well as we can glory in Him.

Us and God–Eternal Glorying—such a wonderful thought!
Memorize this verse to remind yourself just what your belief in Christ has given you and God too.  Then, rejoice and share this good news with others!

Scripture Memorization: Spiritual Blessings: Confidence

Ephesians 3:12This Week’s Scripture:
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.  Ephesians 3:12 KJV

This Week’s Message:
Just a few weeks ago we memorized this verse, so this week is a refresher for those of you that did that.

This verse contains three spiritual blessings: Access, Boldness and Confidence. Previously we focused on Access and Boldness, so this week we will think upon Confidence.
The verse says that In Christ, we who have faith in Him, have boldness and access with confidence.
“With confidence” means we can absolutely trust that in Christ we have access to God and can boldly enter into God’s presence as one of His children, we can

rely on this to be true because of our faith in Christ.

So, believers, let’s walk in this Blessing of Confidence this week!  Let’s rejoice and give thanks for these spiritual blessings we have received in Christ!

And, if you haven’t previously memorized this wonderful verse, please do so this week. If you have memorized it, use this time to refresh your memory on it
and give thanks for all the wonderful spiritual blessings it speaks of.

Blessings to you daily as you memorize and walk in  His word.

Spiritual Blessing: Boldness!

This Week’s Scripture:
Ephesians 3:12

This Week’s Message:  Boldness!
Boldness means: freedom in speaking, unreservedness in speech, permission to speak openly and frankly, without concealment or ambiguity.
You could say it is real freedom of speech!

I am normally not a bold person, actually I am quite shy, however when it comes to spiritual things I am quite bold.  Why? Because this verse tells me that I have boldness.

In whom *[Christ Jesus our Lord] we *[believers] have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him *[Christ Jesus our Lord]
Ephesians 3:12 KJV     (*text in [ ] added for clarification purposes.)

Because of my faith in Christ, I have a spiritual boldness that is in me.
I know that in Christ I have access which is a relationship with God and I know I  can go before God freely, fearlessly, as His child, anytime, anyplace.
I also have a boldness in prayer because I know I have the authority of Christ within me. I know I can pray boldly in His Name, with His authority and power because of my faith in Him.
This boldness is a wonderful Spiritual Blessing that all we believers have.
We should memorize this verse to remind ourselves daily of who we are in Christ, what we are blessed with, and then boldly walk in the many blessings we have received.

Spiritual Blessing: Body of Christ

Ephesians 1:22,,23 This Week’s Scripture:
And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
Ephesians 1:22,23

This Week’s Message:
When God in His power raised Jesus from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, He placed Him far above all principalities, powers, might and dominions.

He declared that Jesus name was above all names forever. He put all things under the feet of Jesus and He placed Jesus as head over all.
He declared that the church on earth, which is us believers, would be the body of Jesus on earth.
Since Jesus is no longer physically on earth, but is seated in the heavenlies on the right hand of God, we his true believers are His body on earth and He is the Head of it.

Believers, seriously consider what this verse is saying to you. You are Christ’s body on this earth. You are His hands and feet. You have His power within you to perform good works
in His name. Other believers are His body also. All of us believers together are the fullness of Him on earth. This is a great and wonderful blessing that we have received!

Let us all ponder this and give thanks, as we memorize this verse this week.

Spiritual Blessing: Adopted

Ephesians 1:5This Week’s Scripture:
Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,  Ephesians 1:5 KJV

This Week’s Message:
In the Bible’s New Living Translation this verse is put this way:

“God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.”

Aren’t you glad God wanted to do that? Aren’t you glad Jesus Christ made it possible? Aren’t you glad you are adopted as His own?

As children of God let’s give Him thanks and praise as we memorize this wonderful verse!
