 PRAYER FOR AUGUST 2007
(when scripture I offer is scoffed at or the tract I hand out is tossed aside.) It tells me to be always enthusiastic even if I am watering those seeds and seeing no growth, (when I have prayed for so long and see no changes or when I share some good news and it is met with apathy) It reminds me that nothing I do for You, Lord, is ever useless. (my money, my time, my material goods, my knowledge--whatever I give is useful) So, I will not become weary but I will keep on praying, witnessing, working, believing, hoping and seeking Your will for someday a harvest will come and someday Your purpose will be accomplished. The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with My word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it."
