PRAYER FOR AUGUST 2015LORD=Jehovah = "the existing One" is the proper name of the one true God. LORD, Your word tells me that "wait" doesn't mean to languish or sit dejectedly, it means to expect, place all my hope in, to look for You, the LORD--the One True God-Jehovah! Wait means to prevail, stand strong, press on. It means that I should gather together all my faith and encourage myself in Your word. LORD, you have shown me that the root word for "wait" actually means to bind together or twist, quite like the stands of a rope are put together. Therefore, I think You are telling me that I should look at my waiting time as one where I bind all my beliefs in You and Your word together into a strong rope which I can then hang onto as I look for You to come to me in my time of need. As I do that, You will come, and You will strengthen and build me up even more! You will confirm Your word to be true in my heart, my inner man, and You will make me even stronger by bringing Your assurance of all that is truth. LORD, I look forward to waiting on You daily.
