PRAYER FOR JANUARY 2016Dear LORD: This New Year I am thinking about making many new plans for my life. I have hopes and dreams, and at the start of this new year I want to put some of my plans into action. While I know hopes, dreams and plans are all good things, LORD, I read in your word that I can make many plans, but it is only Your purpose that prevails. So, this New Year I want to be sure that my plans are in accordance with Your purpose LORD. Therefore I am seeking Your will and way for my life. I am praying that You will direct my steps and show me the purpose You have planned for me. Then, this New Year I will succeed in all I do because I will be fulfilling Your purpose everyday. Direct my steps toward Your way, LORD! It is Your purpose that I want to walk in and fulfill this New Year. "A man's heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps."
