Promise: TRUST
"Trust
in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He
shall direct your paths."Proverbs 3:5,6 (NKJV)

Thought:
The
dictionary definition of Trust is:
a firm belief in the
reliability of another,
to have confidence in or to hope in
someone
So to receive this Promise of direction for our
paths, we need to:
- Put our full confidence in God only,
- Not rely on our own intelligence or feelings,
- Recognize, accept and express thanks for God's authority
- In all our ways...thoughts, speech, actions.
Today let's
begin to trust God with all our heart, in all our
ways so as to receive His Promise of right direction for our
lives.
 Commit your way to the LORD,
Trust also in Him,
And He shall bring it to pass.Psalm 37:5 (NKJV) Today's
Prayer:
Dear
God, I so want to trust You in everything but sometimes it is hard
to completely let go.
Sometimes I trust You in my mind, but my heart
is doubting.
Sometimes my heart is fully committed but my mind is
reasoning.
And as You know, sometimes my independent will gets in the way of
acknowledging Your authority over all of my life.
But today, Father
God, I want to begin really trusting You. I want to receive Your
promise of right direction for my life.
Therefore, I am surrendering
my will to You and I am putting my full confidence in You to lead me on
right paths as I acknowledge You in all I do. Thank You God. In
Jesus name, I pray. Amen
