“Look at the birds of the air,

for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns;

yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not of more value than they?”

Prayer for June 2019

Dear Father God,

As I sit and watch the birds in my yard today,
I am reminded of these comforting words of Jesus,
which tell me what a wonderful Provider I have in You,
Father God.

The millions of birds that fill the universe, do not sow nor reap,
nor worry, nor fret, about where their next meal will come from,
they just trust that when they seek they will find it, because You,
Father God, will provide it.

And as You do for them, so will You do for me, even more abundantly
than I could ever imagine!

Thank You, my dear Father God, for Your constant provision!
