Precious Promise of Assurance

This Week’s  Memory Verse:
A Precious Promise of Assurance

…in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.  Ephesians 3:12 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
You might be thinking….what is this verse…why am I memorizing this?
What does it mean?

Well, it means a lot to us believers.  It is a very important verse and one which we should cling to, because it is a very precious promise from God to us who believe in His Son, Jesus.

It is saying that because of our faith in Christ, God has opened the door to His throne room to us!  Because of Christ, we now have access to the Father–anytime day or night.  We can come confidently, boldly to the Throne, knowing full well that God will receive us!
This is a wonderful promise of Assurance to us and one which we should remember and cling to.

The New Living Translation of the bible says it like this:
“Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come fearlessly into God’s presence, assured of His glad welcome.”  Ephesians 3:12 [NLT]

Be blessed as you memorize and cling to His Precious Promise of Assurance this week!

Precious Promise: ANXIETY

This Week’s Memory Verses:
A Precious Promise regarding ANXIETY
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6,7 [NKJ
V]

This Week’s Message:
Anxious means: distressed, uneasy, fearful, worried, concerned, disturbed, or apprehensive.
We could be anxious about something bad or even about something good—however, God says we should not be anxious about anything!

Instead, we should pray about everything, giving thanks to God, letting Him know what it is we need. He promises, if we do this, that we will receive His peace which will guard our hearts and minds.
These are very important and helpful verses to memorize, and ones which we should keep in our minds and hearts daily.

Let’s not be anxious about anything, but pray about everything, thankful for His promise to us, trusting in Him, and we will live in God’s peace as He guards our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
God’s Blessings to you as you memorize His word and walk in it daily!

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Zechariah 4:6

This Week’s Memory Verse: Zechariah 4:6 KJV
Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

This Week’s Message:
Zerubbabel was the head of the tribe of Judah during the time the Israelites returned to their land after their exile in Babylon.
The LORD spoke through the prophet Zechariah that He wanted the temple rebuilt and He chose Zerubbabel to be the one to accomplish this task.
However, the LORD made it clear that the task would be completed not by man’s might, nor by any ruler’s power, but by the LORD’s Spirit.
The LORD was going to work supernaturally through men to accomplish this rebuilding of the temple. It wouldn’t be done by the strength of men, nor the power of an earthly king, but by the LORD.
Yes, men would have to co-operate and do the daily tasks but the LORD’s Spirit would lead and guide through the whole process.

We can learn so much from this verse. As we believer’s live and walk in the Spirit daily, we need to remember that if the LORD wants us to accomplish something for Him, it will happen, not because
of our might or power, but because of His. We believer’s have His Spirit dwelling within us. Each day we have the ability to do great things for the LORD in His might and power.
So, let’s memorize this verse and daily ask the LORD what it is that He wants us to do for Him, and then go forth to accomplish it by His Spirit.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to you daily as you walk in His Spirit and do the good works He has prepared for you to do for Him.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–2 Timothy 1:7

This Week’s Memory Verse:
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 KJV

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is one of my favorites. I have often recited it to myself or others when fear rose up, and indeed it was a reminder that fear is not of God, so we should not allow it to come upon us.
God has given us power, love, and a sound mind ( which is self-control or discipline). We receive those from His Holy Spirit that lives within us. The spirit of fear will try to come upon us in certain situations we may face, but we should not entertain it.
We should use the self-control He has given us to cast fear out of our minds and we should face it and overcome it with the power God has given us.

So, this week let’s memorize this verse so that we have it stored in our minds and hearts to use whenever fear rises up.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to you this week as you walk in His Spirit filled with power, love and a sound mind.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–1 Timothy 2:5

This Week’s Memory Verse: 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is an excellent one to memorize as it is a very good verse to use when witnessing to someone regarding salvation.
This verse very clearly states that there is only one God and one mediator between God and men and that mediator is Christ Jesus.
Many times we may find ourselves in situations where we might need to witness to someone who believes there is more that one God, or that there are many ways man can be reconciled to God. This verse can be shared at those times.

As we memorize this week’s verse, let’s give thanks to Christ Jesus for being our mediator and pray for those who don’t yet know Him.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: 2 Thessalonians 3:3

This Week’s Verse:
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NKJV

(Here is the Verse in the KJV for those of you who prefer to memorize KJV)
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
2Thessalonians 3:3 KJV

This Week’s Message:
Believers, we can count on the Lord for He is faithful, He is trustworthy, if His word says something we can rely on it to be the truth.
This week our verse is telling us that the Lord is faithful and He will strengthen us and guard us from the evil one.
As long as we are walking with Him daily we need not fear, for He will protect us. He will give us strength to face temptations. He will always be with us night and day
to guard us. He is faithful, we can count on Him.

So, let’s memorize this verse as a reminder that we have someone who always is with us to help us in all situations we may face daily.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–1 Thessalonians 5:18

This Week’s Memory Verse:
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV

This Week’s Message:
This weeks verse tells us believers to “give thanks in everything for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
That means whatever circumstances we are in we should be thankful because in the end we know God will work all things together for our good. (See Romans 8:28)
So in various trials we should stay in an attitude of thankfulness that we have God to lean on, we should trust that He is aware of our circumstances, we should believe that He is working things out on our behalf.
Staying in this attitude will keep us from discouragement, grumbling, anger and worry, which are all forms of unbelief and therefore sinful on our part.

This week then as we memorize our verse, let’s give thanks daily and also put into practice the verses before and after it.
Each day this week let’s:

  • Rejoice evermore. 1Th 5:16–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Pray without ceasing.1Th 5:17–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Quench not the Spirit.1Th 5:19–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Despise not prophesyings. 1Th 5:20–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.1Th 5:21–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18
  • Abstain from all appearance of evil.1Th 5:22–for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.1 Thessalonians 5:18

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Song of Songs 2:4

This Week’s Memory Verse:
He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
Song of Songs 2:4 KJV

This Week’s Message:
I chose this weeks verse because it reminds me of a time in the future when I am going to be going into God’s Kingdom in heaven where Jesus will be waiting to take me to dine at His Marriage Supper of the Lamb as spoken of in Revelation 19:6-9.
I am not sure if this weeks verse is referring to that time or if it is just a reminder to me, but I think it could be and I know there will be such a time for me for God’s word says so. Therefore, it seems to be a great, encouraging verse to memorize.

The book Song of Songs does not specifically mention the name of God, Lord, or Christ, however there are several verses in it that I think make reference to one of those names and this verse is one of those.

I hope you will join me in memorizing this scripture this week and that you are as encouraged by it as I am.

Blessings to you this week as you rest in His love and look forward to a great time in the future in His Kingdom.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–2 Samuel 7:22

This Week’s Memory Verse: 2 Samuel 7:22 KJV
Wherefore thou art great, O LORD God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee,…

This Week’s Message:
In this weeks verse we hear a very grateful David praising God for who He is and for all He has done for David and for the people of Israel.
God has just spoken to David through the prophet Nathan of how He has blessed David and will continue to bless David’s seed after him and will establish Davids throne and kingdom forever.

As God was with David all his days, so He is with us. And, as God blessed David so He blesses us also.  So, let’s memorize this verse and speak it out from our heart to God daily as a wonderful prayer of praise to Him!

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–1 Samuel 15:29

This Week’s Memory Verse: 1 Samuel 15:29 KJV
And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent:
for he is not a man, that he should repent.

This Week’s Message:
In this week’s verse we are reminded that God does not lie, nor repent. God’s word is true. What He says or does will stand forever, because His judgements and actions are always just.
We can be sure that whatever He has spoken will come about. We can stand firm on His word.
This week’s verse reminds us of Numbers 23:19 which says the same:
“God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

Memorize this weeks verse as an encouragement to yourself, that in this world that is so unstable and insecure, there is one thing that we can be absolutely sure of,
and stand firm on–it is God’s word.
Then, use this verse as you witness to others, share with them the blessing of knowing there is Someone and something they can absolutely believe and trust in,
Someone who will never lie, Someone whose word is always true and good, Someone who is always just, Someone who is so upright that there is no need for repentance.
That Someone is God Almighty (Gen.17:1), the Strength of Israel (1Sam.15:29), Just One (Acts 22:14), Righteous One (1John 2:1), Spirit of Truth (John 14:17), All in All (Col.3:11).
Praise Him today!

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Ruth 2:12

This Week’s Memory Verse: Ruth 2:12 KJV
The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is what Boaz, an Israelite, spoke to Ruth, who was a foreigner in his land.  It is a Blessing he bestowed upon Ruth because of her actions.
Ruth was a Moabite, not an Israelite.  She was of a people whose lifestyle was very different than the Israelites.
After Ruth lost her husband, who was one of Naomi’s sons, she chose to leave her country, her family, her friends and her people and go with Naomi, her Israelite mother-in-law, to help her and protect her on a journey to a new land, among people whom she did not know, people who worshiped and believed in a God she did not know.
Ruth showed genuine compassion and love for her mother-in-law and chose to trust in God because she saw and admired the faith of Naomi and the Israelite people. Boaz saw this quality in her and chose to bless her because of it.

Let’s memorize this verse this week as a reminder to challenge ourselves to live our life as Ruth did. Selfless, Humble, Compassionate, Loving and Trusting.
As we live out our faith daily, others will see and admire these qualities in us, God will be glorified, and we will be blessed.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Have a wonderful week walking in faith, love. and trust daily.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Romans 6:23

This Week’s Memory Verse: Romans 6:23 KJV
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

This Week’s Message:
Dear friends, I am assuming that all of you who are signed up for this Weekly Memorization are believers in Christ and have received God’s gift of eternal life.

At sometime in your life you had a choice, you could have chosen to serve the world, the flesh and the devil and receive the wages that go with that earthly lifestyle of sin.
Those wages which are spiritual death–a life lived separate from God here on earth and someday eternally.
But…you chose to serve God by believing and receiving His Son, Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and thereby received God’s gift of life abundantly here on earth and someday eternally.  Praise God for that choice! It is by far the best one!

This week’s verse shows us that all mankind basically has this life and death choice.
Believe and receive Christ and choose to serve God, receive the gift of eternal life.
Refuse to believe–reject Christ and you will receive the wages of sin, which is death–eternally. It is a sobering thought.

Memorize this verse and rejoice that you have made the best choice–the one which receives eternal life.
Then, share this verse with all you know who are un-believers and pray that they will make the right choice also.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Proverbs 3:5

This Week’s Memory Verse: Proverbs 3:5 KJV
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

This Week’s Message:
This Week’s Memory Verse is a good one to memorize because in our daily lives we will often need to be reminded to do this.

Many times things happen, or don’t happen, that we can’t understand, therefore we need to be reminded that God’s ways are not our ways and we need to just place all our confidence in Him that things will work out for the best somehow in someway.
We need to trust in the LORD everyday with all our mind, heart, and soul, leaning upon His understanding of things and not on ours.
This makes our lives so much easier if we do this. For by trusting in Him and not leaning onto our own understanding, we eliminate the temptation to worry and fret, things He has told us not to do.
If we really believe that He is in control of everything, then there is no need for us to try to figure things out. We should just trust in Him as He tells us to do.

Memorize this verse and do what it says daily. You will find how much more peaceful your life will become.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Philippians 4:13

This Week’s Memory Verse: Philippians 4:13 KJV
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is one of my very favorites and one which I had memorized years ago and have often called it to mind whenever I felt the need for strength.
I have spoken it aloud, prayed it, and shared it with others. It is one of those basic go to verses that all of us will need to have in our mind and heart in order that we might call it quickly to mind whenever and whatever the need.
Paul says in the preceding verse: “I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little.” Philippians 4:12 (NLT)  Paul had learned to be content in any situation he was in because Christ gave him the strength to do so.

Hebrews 13:8 says: “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” Therefore, since Christ is the same today as He was in Paul’s time, we can be sure that Christ will strengthen us just as He did Paul.

Memorize this verse so you can carry it in your mind and heart as a reminder to you that you can do anything through Christ.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.  It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to you as you do all things through Christ you strengthens you this week and always.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Philemon 1:4

This Week’s Memory Verse: Philemon 1:4 KJV
I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

This Week’s Message:
This Week’s Memory Verse reminds us to give thanks for and continually pray for our brothers and sisters in the Lord.
As we read the whole chapter of Philemon we can see that Paul is grateful for and praying for:

  • his fellow labourers in the Lord ( 1:1 and 1:24)
  • his fellow soldier in the Lord (1:2)
  • his fellow labourers home church (1:3)
  • his fellow servants, brothers, partners (1:16-17)
  • his fellow prisoners (1:23)

As we memorize this week’s verse, let’s also remember to pray for our fellow believers in the Lord. Let’s pray for those brothers and sisters in our church community,
and our fellow believers who are friends or co-workers. Let’s remember to pray for those who are in prison for their work for the Lord or those who are being persecuted for their faith.

This week just take time to remember, give thanks and pray for all those you know who are fellow believers.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This Week’s Message:
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise—the Lord has promised there will be a time that Christ will return and there will be a day of judgement–He has an appointed time that this will happen and it will happen at that time, not sooner–not later.
The Lord is not slow, He is not delaying the time, He is not tarrying—-what He is doing is being longsuffering or very patient, because He does not
want anyone to perish (die in sin) but He wants all people to repent and come to be saved.
He set the time long ago to give everyone a chance for salvation but when that time arrives He will not extend it.
That is why in 2 Corinthians 6:2 it says “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation”
No one should wait to repent of their sins and accept Christ as their Savior, because no one knows how much time they have.

Memorize this verse and share it with those you know who are lost, let them know that they need to repent and believe and receive Christ now before it is too late.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–1 Peter 3:18

This Week’s Memory Verse: 1 Peter 3:18 KJV
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

This Week’s Message:
The Bible’s New Living Translation says it this way: Christ suffered for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God.
He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

Believers, we know that Christ has brought us to God and He has given us new life in the Spirit, this verse explains it very well. Let’s memorize this verse and use it to share with those who don’t know this and this is another Trinity verse that we can share also.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

As you memorize and share this week, also remember to praise Christ for what He did to bring us to God and give thanks for His Spirit who has also quickened us to new life in Him for all eternity.

Blessings to you daily,

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Obadiah 1:15

This Week’s Memory Verse: Obadiah 1:15 KJV
For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

This Week’s Message:
This week our memorization verse is not about us believers, it is about the ungodly people, those who choose to reject the LORD and do evil.
Obadiah was speaking about the coming judgment upon the ungodly people of Edom who were against Israel.
The book of Obadiah is the smallest book in the Old Testament–it is only one chapter, read it to better understand the meaning of this verse.

Then, as you memorize this verse, pray for the lost people and nations of the world who need salvation. Pray that they will repent before it’s too late.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Numbers 23:19

This Week’s Memory Verse: Numbers 23:19 KJV
God is not a man, that he should lie;….

This Week’s Message:
This Week’s verse is short, but powerful. God is telling us that He does not lie. And, we as believers all believe that in our hearts, and we know that in our minds, but….
there are times when we let doubt creep in, or fear, or insecurity. We wonder about this or that regarding a situation instead of just believing and trusting.
So this verse is one we should memorize and keep in our minds and hearts for those times of fear and doubt. Then, we can remind ourselves “God is not a man, that he should lie.”

Memorize this verse–Speak it out loud to yourself whenever you doubt or fear or are tempted. Know that God’s word is always true and that He will always keep His promises.
For, as the whole verse says: “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to you daily as you memorize His word and live in His love and care.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Nehemiah 9:17

This Week’s Memory Verse: Nehemiah 9:17 KJV
…but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness,…

This Week’s Message:
In this chapter of Nehemiah we see the children of Israel fasting, praying, repenting and worshipping the Lord. They are reading His word and declaring who He is. They are recalling His wondrous deeds to their forefathers and His love and care for all generations. They are praising His name as LORD, God, One who is forgiving, gracious, merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness.

This week as we memorize this verse let’s also take time to worship and praise Him, our God, who has all those attributes and more. Let’s make this week’s memory verse into a prayer of praise to Him, declaring that He is our God who is ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness. How blessed our week will be as we do this daily!

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Nahum 1:7

This Week’s Memory Verse: Nahum 1:7 KJV
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse tells us three things:

  • The LORD is good
  • The LORD is a stronghold in the day of trouble
  • The LORD knows those that trust in HIm

What do these things mean to us in our daily lives? If we are believers, they mean that we have a Heavenly Father that is good, kind, loving and upright, someone we can count on to always be there for us, especially in time of trouble, for then we can run to Him for safety and protection from harm or fear.
It tells me that He knows who we are, for we are not strangers or someone He just knows of, no, He knows us personally. We are His children. We belong to Him.
He cares for us, watches over us, and protects us day and night.

What a wonderful verse! Memorize it and share it with all the believers you know and give thanks and praise to our wonderful LORD!

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Micah 6:8

This Week’s Memory Verse: Micah 6:8 NKJV
He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justly, To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?

( For those who choose to memorize in the KJV
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Micah 6:8 KJV )

This Week’s Message:
What does God want? Goodness, Mercy, Love, Justice and a Relationship with you.
This Week’s verse shows us pretty plainly how the LORD wants us to live.

  • The verse says that God has shown us what is good and that is:
  • He wants us to be fully committed to Him and walk humbly with Him daily.
  • He wants us to be upright in all our daily doings.
  • He wants us to be merciful towards others as He has been merciful towards us.
  • He wants us to do good, be kind, loving, exhibiting the fruit of the Spirit in our lives.

When you think about it, what He is requiring of us is no more than He has done.
He is not asking much of us, He just wants us to have a close personal relationship with Him, one in which we love Him as He loves us.
If we do this our lives will be good, spiritually rich, and full of blessings.

Memorize this verse to remind yourself daily how the LORD wants you to live.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to you daily as you memorize His wonderful word!

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization- Matthew 28:19

This Week’s Memory Verse: Matthew 28:19 KJV
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

This Week’s Message:
Believers, before Jesus left this earth He instructed His followers to go, teach, and baptize–all nations. He said to teach the nations to observe all the things He had commanded.
I guess if that is our purpose in life, then we should know what He had commanded, therefore we need to be reading and studying the gospels to learn what Jesus taught His followers and then we need to ask Him out how we can share that with others today.

This is not something Jesus said lightly, this is a command to us, His followers, to do. This week as we memorize this verse let’s really think upon it and make plans to act upon it also.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.
It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

God’s blessings upon you this week as you memorize, ponder and pray.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Mark 9:23-24

This Week’s Memory Verse: Mark 9:23-24 NKJV
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

(KJV for those who want to memorize in KJV)
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

This Week’s Message:
“If you can believe” Jesus said. “All things are possible to him who believes” Jesus said to this scribe who was not one of His followers, a man who had probably seen and heard Jesus, yet hadn’t really believed in Him. Scribes were teachers of the Law and often argued with Jesus and were against Him. I think the words Jesus spoke to the scribe were an invitation for him to believe in Jesus, not for him to believe that his son could be healed. I believe Jesus wanted the man to be healed of his unbelief first and then he would witness the healing of his son. And, the man did believe for he cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe”
To call Jesus, Lord, was to acknowledge that he did believe and receive Him as Lord and Savior, then he asks for forgiveness by saying “help my unbelief” which could be interpreted as forgive me for my lack of faith. A great thing happened that day for both the man and his son received healing and deliverance!

Memorize this verse and think upon it this week. Give thanks that you know Jesus as Lord. Give thanks that “all things are possible to him who believes” and if you have any unbelief, ask Jesus to remove it from you.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.  It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might benefit from it also.

Blessings to you daily.

This Week’s Memory Verse:
For I am the LORD, I change not;…Malachi 3:6 KJV

This Week’s Message:
“For I am the LORD, I change not”, a comforting statement to us believers.
It tells us we have put our faith in someone we can trust.
We can rest assured what whatever the LORD has said is something we can count on.. We can rely on His promises and count on Him to always be there for us day or night.
We have no need to fear for He will do as He has said, for nothing He has spoken will ever change. What a blessing it is to be His children and live in His love!

Memorize this verse and keep it in your mind daily to remind yourself that you belong to someone you can trust forever! In this ever changing world we live in it is such a comfort to know that our LORD never changes.

A to Z–Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Luke 2:11

This Week’s Memory Verse: Luke 2:11 KJV
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

This Week’s Message:
I can remember hearing this verse and memorizing it as a child. I would hear it read in church every Christmas and I loved it. It, of course, didn’t have the full meaning to me then as it does now because as a child I didn’t really understand the amazing truth of what this verse was saying, but today it is a very special verse to me because it tells me that at some point in time God came to earth as a baby to deliver and redeem mankind from the curse of sin and death.
He came down from heaven to be our Savior. He was born of a woman and became man. He was called Christ which means Messiah, and Lord because He is Master of all.
What a wonderful event this was! We should celebrate everyday that Christ was born!

Memorize this verse and give thanks to God saying “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” Luke 2:14
for Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace and He, as God incarnate, came to
earth to bring good will toward all who will believe and receive Him as Savior and Lord.
For, “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us” Matthew 1:23
.Hallelujah!

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.  It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might.

Blessings to you daily as you memorize His word and live it out daily.

A to Z–Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Leviticus 26:12

This Week’s Memory Verse: Leviticus 26:12 KJV
And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

This Week’s Message:
God was reminding the Israelites of the Blessings of Obedience. He was telling them to remember it was Him who brought them out of Egypt and reminding them of His Commandments and the importance of always obeying Him and honoring Him. He told them if they did He would walk among them and be their God, and they would be His people. He would dwell with them in the Tabernacle and would go where
ever they journeyed. He would bless them and provide for them. They would have a close personal relationship with each other. The choice was theirs, Him or the World, unfortunately their fleshly desires always seemed to lead them astray and they were never able to obey. That is why Christ had to come to fulfill the Law and bring those who believe in Him into a right relationship with God.

To me, this verse seems to be the promise of of what we believers have in Christ, for His Holy Spirit lives within us and is with us always and in Christ we can have a close personal relationship with God and receive His many blessings, peace, protection, and provision.

So, let’s memorize this beautiful, encouraging verse this week. Let’s give thanks that we are God’s people and that His Spirit dwells within us because of Christ.
Then, let’s walk and talk with God daily as His people.

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might.
