Precious Promise of Assurance

This Week’s  Memory Verse:
A Precious Promise of Assurance

…in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.  Ephesians 3:12 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
You might be thinking….what is this verse…why am I memorizing this?
What does it mean?

Well, it means a lot to us believers.  It is a very important verse and one which we should cling to, because it is a very precious promise from God to us who believe in His Son, Jesus.

It is saying that because of our faith in Christ, God has opened the door to His throne room to us!  Because of Christ, we now have access to the Father–anytime day or night.  We can come confidently, boldly to the Throne, knowing full well that God will receive us!
This is a wonderful promise of Assurance to us and one which we should remember and cling to.

The New Living Translation of the bible says it like this:
“Because of Christ and our faith in Him, we can now come fearlessly into God’s presence, assured of His glad welcome.”  Ephesians 3:12 [NLT]

Be blessed as you memorize and cling to His Precious Promise of Assurance this week!

Scripture Memorization: Spiritual Blessings: Confidence

Ephesians 3:12This Week’s Scripture:
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.  Ephesians 3:12 KJV

This Week’s Message:
Just a few weeks ago we memorized this verse, so this week is a refresher for those of you that did that.

This verse contains three spiritual blessings: Access, Boldness and Confidence. Previously we focused on Access and Boldness, so this week we will think upon Confidence.
The verse says that In Christ, we who have faith in Him, have boldness and access with confidence.
“With confidence” means we can absolutely trust that in Christ we have access to God and can boldly enter into God’s presence as one of His children, we can

rely on this to be true because of our faith in Christ.

So, believers, let’s walk in this Blessing of Confidence this week!  Let’s rejoice and give thanks for these spiritual blessings we have received in Christ!

And, if you haven’t previously memorized this wonderful verse, please do so this week. If you have memorized it, use this time to refresh your memory on it
and give thanks for all the wonderful spiritual blessings it speaks of.

Blessings to you daily as you memorize and walk in  His word.

Spiritual Blessing: Blameless

Ephesians 1:4This Week’s Scripture:
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,
Ephesians 1:4 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
God’s plan was always to have a close, personal relationship with us. Jesus came and made that possible.
Believers, in Christ we have exceeding abundance because we have been accepted by God. We have access to God 24/7 because we are His children.
In Christ we are holy and without blame before God in love. Let’s believe it, receive it and walk in it daily.

Spiritual Blessing: Access

Ephesians 2:18This Week’s Scripture: Access
For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Ephesians 2:18 KJV

This Week’s Message:
Carefully read this week’s verse. Break it down. Do you see what it is saying?

For through Him (Jesus Christ)
we both (Jew and Gentile)
have access (relationship)
by one Spirit (Holy Spirit)
unto the Father (God)

  • This verse shows us the Trinity–Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
  • This verse shows us that believers are God’s people because of Christ–Jew and Gentile are made one in Christ.
  • This verse shows that the Holy Spirit has been placed within us–He is our guarantee that we have access to Father God.
  • This verse shows that believers can have a relationship with God, He is our Father, we are His children.

This is quite a powerful and important verse for us to memorize!
As you memorize it this week think upon it daily and give thanks for this wonderful blessing of access!
