A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Psalm 18:2

This Week’s Memory Verse: Psalm 18:2 KJV
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

This Week’s Message:
Who is the LORD? This verse tells us He is more than enough for us.
He is ALL we need every day, every night, in all situations.

He is our:

  • Rock–a firm foundation, strong, unchanging
  • Fortress–protection and shelter from the enemy
  • Deliverer–sets free, releases, saves
  • God--Supreme, Ruler, Creator, Almighty, All Knowing, All Seeing, All Powerful,
  • Strength–strong, powerful, mighty
  • Buckler–(Shield)–defends, protects, supports
  • Horn of my Salvation–Jesus Christ, who is our strength, safety, power, redeemer, deliverer, protection,
  • High Tower–refuge, hope, help, safe place, protection,

Knowing who the LORD is—we have to say in Him we will trust, we will rely on Him to be our All in All, for is truly is!
and “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 KJV

Memorize this verse—repeat it to yourself daily–call upon the LORD in any and all situations you may be facing for He will always be near,
for “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 KJV

If you would like you can Print the memory verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision. This Week’s Memory Verse: Genesis 1:1 KJV
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is short but so important. This first verse in the bible is the foundation of our belief that in the beginning, the One True God, the Creator of all things
first created heaven and earth and then went on to create all things. He is the Creator and giver of life. He deserves our highest praise and thanks!

Memorize this verse and share it with those you meet this week. Also, stop to give thanks and praise to the One True God, Creator of all things seen and unseen.

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Ecclesiastes 12:1

This Week’s Memory Verse: Ecclesiastes 12:1 NKJV
Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come,
And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them”:

This Week’s Message:
I would imagine that all of you memorizing scripture with me are believers, however, we may all be of different ages physically and of different maturity spiritually.
Yet, all of us, as long as we are living, can remember our Creator and give Him thanks daily, and try to live to honor Him and serve Him.
And, even though some of us may not be in the days of our youth. we can still memorize this verse to share it with those we know who are young.
And, if any of us are in our youth, we can memorize this verse and apply it daily to our lives now.

Remember means to think about, to be mindful of, therefore each moment of our days, whether we are young or old, should be spent remembering our Creator.
We should focus on who He is , what He does, and how much He loves us. We should spend time talking with Him, listening to Him and sharing Him with others.
Then, whether we are young or old, we will always have pleasure in our days, because they will be filled with Him.

If you would like you can Print the verse out in a card format to post to your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.
It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might see it.

Blessings to you as you memorize this verse, apply to your life, and share it with others this week.

This Week’s Memory Verse: 1 Chronicles 29:10-11 ESV
Blessed are you, O LORD, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever.
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours.
Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and you are exalted as head above all.

This Week’s Message:
This week we have two verses that may seem to be quite a long to memorize, but I think if you try you will find they will be quite invaluable to commit to your memory.
These verses can be a rich treasure of encouragement to us believers for they specifically remind us of just Who we believe in and have a relationship with.
The LORD=Jehovah, God of Israel, our Father, Eternal God, Everlasting Father, Elohiym=One True God.  He is great, powerful, full of glory and majesty, and in Him we have victory.  He is Creator, All in All, Ruler, and of His Kingdom there will be no end!  He is the Head above all!  Let us exalt Him now!

If you would like you can Print the verse out in a card format to post to your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.
It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might see it.

Fear Not Scripture: Genesis 21:17

Genesis 21:17This Week’s Scripture:
“What ails you, Hagar?  Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.” Genesis 21:17 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
The first part of this verse says: And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven,…

This verse shows me:
First of all—God, Elohiym, the Supreme God, the Creator, heard
(perceived, regarded, listened, understood) the voice of Hagar’s child.

Second–That God didn’t just hear, He responded. He sent His angel to communicate with Hagar, the lad’s mother.

Third–It shows God’s concern, his love and compassion. He wants to let Hagar know that He is aware of what is going on in her life and in the life of her child, for the verse says: “God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.”
God wanted to let Hagar know that He knew exactly where she and her son were and that she should not be afraid for God was going to help.

Believers, isn’t this a wonderful verse for us to memorize and reflect upon? Don’t you think that each one of us could substitute our name in place of Hagar’s name in this verse?
Don’t you agree that God would also tell us that He hears our cries just as He heard the lad’s cries? And that He knows just where we are and that we should not be afraid for He will help us? For,  we are His children.

Plus, God not only hears, He sees also.  In Genesis 16:13 Hagar called Him “El-Roi–The God Who Sees Me.”

In Malachi 3:6 God says: “For I am the LORD, I change not;”—since God doesn’t change, should we not expect that He would also hear and see us today?

“Fear Not”—Our God–Elohiym says.  Are we hearing Him?

Blessings to you as you memorize His word and walk and talk with Him daily.
