Scripture Memorization–Enduring To The End–Week 8

This Week’s Memory Verse:
I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. –Jesus   John 9:4 KJV

Jesus came into this world with a purpose. He knew His purpose and He was constantly doing the work daily that would accomplish that purpose.
He knew He had only so much time here on earth to do the works His Father had told Him to do and He didn’t let anything stop Him from accomplishing His purpose.

Jesus words should ring in our ears daily, they should be a constant reminder to us to be about the work God has called us to do for Him.
This work is not to obtain salvation, for if we have believed and received Christ as our Savior then we already have salvation.
This is work that God has prepared for us to do to bring Him glory.
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10

If you don’t know what works God has called you to do, then pray and ask Him. He will surely let you know so that you can be about doing them daily. For we all only have so much time to do the works God has prepared for us to do. Someday our lives on earth will be over and there will not be any more opportunity for us to do any works on this earth and since we don’t know when that will be, we should be diligently doing the works God has called us to do while we still have time.

Memorize this verse and repeat to yourself daily, for in these end times, there is much work to do and the world, the flesh, and the devil will constantly be trying to stop us from completing our work. But if we have the mind of Christ and commit ourselves to be diligent like He was then we will succeed and fulfill our purpose here on earth before “the night cometh”

God bless you abundantly as you fulfill your purpose and glorify His name.

Scripture Memorization–Enduring To The End–Week 5

This Week’s Memory Verse:
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV

Believers, every day we need to put on the Armor of God and stay alert, watchful, and cautious.  We need to make sure not to let our guard down or get too comfortable, because our enemy, the devil, is always walking about, “like a roaring lion” which means that he see us in his territory doing our good works and he is trying to frighten us, let us know he’s around, hoping he will cause us to fear and run, so that we stop doing the good works God has prepared for us to do.  That is why God says to wear His Armor and to stand firm, remain calm, and pray.  Believers, every day if we are actively serving God and walking in His ways and doing His works, we are going to be pursued by our enemy, who wants to destroy us in whatever way he can.

So, memorize this week’s verse, and be sure to do what it says every day of your life.
For in these last days we need God’s protection to keep ourselves safe from the devil.

This Week’s Memory Verse on: PURPOSE

A Precious Promise about: PURPOSE
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 (NKJV)

This Week’s Message:
Believers,we love God. He has called us to do good works according to His purpose. Therefore, He promises us that He will work ALL things together for good in our lives in order to accomplish the purpose to which He has called us.
Therefore, when things don’t work out exactly as planned, remember this verse and know that God will work out whatever we need in life to accomplish His purpose for us.

Satan, the world, or even our own flesh, might mess things up, but God can and will always work things out to accomplish His purpose.
Therefore, memorize this verse and remind yourself daily, that God is always at work, in you, around you and through you, to accomplish His purpose for your life.

Just love Him and praise Him daily, for who He is!
Blessings to you daily.

A to Z–Book by Book Scripture Memorization–3 John 1:11

This Week’s Memory Verse: 3 John 1:11 NKJV
He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.

This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is pretty straightforward–it is speaking of the difference between good and evil in those who know God and those who don’t know Him.
The word “seen” is “horaō” in Greek which is a verb which means: to know or to become acquainted with by experience

The word “good” is “agathos” in Greek which means:
of good nature–useful–pleasant, agreeable, joyful, happy–excellent–upright, honourable   All these things are of God.

The word “evil” is “kakos” in Greek which means:
of a bad nature–not such as it ought to be–of a mode of thinking, feeling, acting base, wrong, wicked, troublesome, injurious, pernicious, destructive, baneful.
All these things are done by those who do not know God or who have not become acquainted with Him by experience

Believers, we should be doing good things naturally because we have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Anytime evil thoughts come into our minds or we are tempted to do evil actions we can immediately know these things are not of God and we should cast them out of our lives. Satan might try to influence us to do these wrong things, but we have the power of the Holy Spirit within us to refuse and resist him.,
James 4:7 says: Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

So, this week let’s memorize this verse as a reminder to ourselves to do good daily and also to pray for those who don’t—for as this verse tells us, they need to know God
and we believers are the ones who can share Him with them.

If you would like you can Print the verse out in a card format to post to your bathroom mirror, refrigerator, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.
It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might

Blessings to you daily
