Nuggets of Truth–Scripture Memory Verse–V

GOLD Letter VThis Week’s Memory Verse:
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. –Jesus  [John 6:47 KJV]

This Week’s Message:
Verily means something that is asserted or confirmed. It is saying whatever is spoken is a firm truth. When Jesus said “Verily, Verily” He was using a double assertion, like “Amen, Amen”.
He was doubly confirming that what He was saying was surely true.
Believers, we can be sure that what is spoken by Jesus is truth for He is Truth!
Our belief on Him will bring us to everlasting life!

Let’s memorize this verse, remember it, and share it!

Nuggets of Truth–Scripture Memory Verse–S

Gold Letter SThis Week’s Memory Verse:
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. ” –Jesus [Matthew 6:33 NKJV]

This Week’s Message:
In the verses previous to this verse Jesus was talking about worrying. He was telling the people not to worry about material things, like clothes and food.
He was telling them to look at the nature around them and see how God provided for the birds and the flowers. He was saying we should first seek God’s way and will for our lives
and if we do, then God will take care of us, just as He does with the birds and flowers, yet even more so because we are even more precious to Him.

When I think of God’s kingdom and righteousness, I immediately think of Christ, for Jesus is the righteousness of God and He is the Messiah who is coming back to rule and reign someday soon.

So believers, let’s memorize this verse to remind ourselves daily to “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” and then we shall not need to worry about anything.

Blessings to you daily.
