A to Z–Book by Book-Scripture Memorization–James 1:17

This Week’s Memory Verse: James 1:17 NKJV
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

This Week’s Message:
Many people this past week celebrated Christmas, a day set aside to honor Christ’s birth, our Savior, God’s good and perfect gift to mankind.
It was a time of gift giving, lights, and rejoicing.
Now, as we enter the New Year, let us reflect on this good and perfect gift we have received from the Father of lights. Let us give thanks and praise to Him who never changes. Let us rejoice that we are Children of the Light!

For: “While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light.” “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:”  (John 12:36 and Ephesians 5:8)

A to Z Book by Book Scripture Memorization–Exodus 15:2

This Week’s Memory Verse: Exodus 15:2 NKJV
The LORD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I will praise Him;

This Week’s Message:
This verse was a song sung by Moses, and the children of Israel after the LORD had parted the Red Sea and delivered them from Pharoah and his army.
Miriam and the women also sang this as they danced and played their timbrels in Exodus 15:21. It was a time of great rejoicing, praising and giving thanks to the LORD
for His protection.and deliverance.

This verse is a great verse for us to memorize and use to sing in praise to the LORD also, for He is our strength. He is our salvation. He is our God, and we should sing and praise Him daily.
God has delivered us believers from the kingdom of darkness into His kingdom of light thru Jesus Christ who is our salvation. Everyday He offers us His strength.
Let’s memorize this verse and sing it to Him daily in praise and thanksgiving!

Scripture Memorization Spiritual Blessing: Chosen

Ephesians 1:4This Week’s Scripture:
just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, Ephesians 1:4 KJV

The NLT says: Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

This Week’s Message:
Believers, God was “not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2Peter 3:9
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” John 3:16-17

God’s desire was for all those in the world to be His children, even before He created the world, even before He created us. God’s desire was to have a pure people with whom He could have a loving relationship, here on earth and for all eternity. That was why He made a way for that to happen. Jesus Christ is the Way. In Christ, we become the chosen of God.

As you memorize this verse, give thanks that before you were even born God made a way for you to have a loving relationship with Him.
Praise God today that you chose to believe and receive Christ, and in Christ, are now holy and without blame before God in love.
