A to Z-Book by Book Scripture Memorization: Deut. 6:5

This Week’s Memory Verse: Deuteronomy 6:5 ESV
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.

  • This Week’s Message:
This week’s verse is probably a familiar one to most of you. It is an important one and a very good one to not only memorize but to also commit to doing daily.

Moses first spoke this verse to the Israelites, but Jesus also spoke it to his followers.
    ( see Matthew 22:37. Mark 12:30 and Luke 10:27)
Jesus said “This is the first and great commandment.” Matthew 22:38.
So, I would say it is a very important verse to not only memorize but also to do.

Loving the LORD your God with all your heart, soul and might,

  • would be completely submitting yourself to Him in all things, all the time.
  • It would be saying daily “not my will, but Your will, LORD God”
  • It would be saying daily “It’s not about me, but only about You LORD God”
  • In all we say, think, do, we believers should live for Him every moment of every day.

So let’s Memorize and Live this verse daily—it is “the first and great commandment” and will be a blessing to our lives and also to those we come in contact with daily.

If you would like you can Print the verse out in a card format to post to your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.
It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might see it.

This Week’s Memory Verse: Daniel 6:26-27 ESV
…for he is the living God, enduring forever;
his kingdom shall never be destroyed,
and his dominion shall be to the end.
He delivers and rescues; he works signs and wonders
in heaven and on earth,…

This Week’s Message:
The Living God, think about that…our God is a Living God. He is ever-present, ever-lasting, and He is always at work in our lives.  there is none like Him!
He delivers and rescues. He works signs and wonders. Everything He does is for our good.  He loves us.  How blessed we believers are to know Him!

As you memorize this verse this week, take time to ponder on each attribute of God and then praise and thank Him for His living presence in your life

If you would like you can Print the verse out in a card format to post to your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.

A to Z–Book by Book–Scripture Memorization-2 Corinthians 1:3-4

This Week’s Memory Verse: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4  ESV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction,  with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

This Week’s Message:
This week we are again memorizing two verses.
The first, 2 Corinthians 1:3, is filled with the richness of some of God’s names:
God of our Lord Jesus Christ—Father of our Lord Jesus Christ—Father of mercies—God of all comfort.
This verse is a wonderful verse to memorize as a reminder of who God is and gives us an opportunity to pray to Him using some of these names.

The second verse, 2 Corinthians 1:4, is a good verse to have in our memory for times that we may be going through afflictions.
It reminds us that God is a Comforter, who offers comfort to us in our afflictions.
It reminds us that often times we are better able to comfort others in their afflictions because we have gone through the same thing.
We can comfort them as God comforted us.

So, I would hope you will memorize one or both of these great verses. Memorizing either, or both, will be a blessing to you in the future I am sure.

If you would like you can Print the verses out in a card format to post to your refrigerator, bathroom mirror, car visor, or other place that would keep it in your daily vision.
It will help to remind you to memorize it as you go through your day and also could be a great tool in sharing with others who might see it.

This Week’s Memory Verse: 1 Corinthians 15:57-58 NKJV
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

This Week’s Message:
Suggestion for praying this verse daily:
“Thank You God, for the victory through my Lord, Jesus Christ, for is in Christ that I have been made Your child who has victory over sin and death. I am truly blessed!
Daily I pray that I will be steadfast and immovable in the faith, and always abounding in the work of the Lord, for I know my labor will not be in vain if it is done for the Lord.”

I would encourage you to memorize this week’s verse and to also pray the prayer daily.
