Scripture Memorization–Enduring To The End–Week 7

This Week’s Memory Verse:
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” Matthew 24:24 NKJV

This week we are memorizing the words of Christ regarding the end times.  He is telling us what to look for.  He is warning us ahead of time so we will know what to expect.
He says in Matthew 24:25:  “Behold, I have told you before.”
In other words, He is saying we have been warned, He has told us ahead of time what deceptions will be coming forth so that we can prepare ourselves.

We believers are God’s elect and the devil and his demons will be doing their best to do everything they can to deceive us in these end times, but if we stay alert, and remember what Christ has told us, stand firm in His word to us, pray, believe and obey, then we won’t be deceived

Memorize this verse as a reminder to yourself so when you see or hear these things happening, so you won’t be deceived..

Scripture Memorization–Enduring To The End–Week 5

This Week’s Memory Verse:
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 NKJV

Believers, every day we need to put on the Armor of God and stay alert, watchful, and cautious.  We need to make sure not to let our guard down or get too comfortable, because our enemy, the devil, is always walking about, “like a roaring lion” which means that he see us in his territory doing our good works and he is trying to frighten us, let us know he’s around, hoping he will cause us to fear and run, so that we stop doing the good works God has prepared for us to do.  That is why God says to wear His Armor and to stand firm, remain calm, and pray.  Believers, every day if we are actively serving God and walking in His ways and doing His works, we are going to be pursued by our enemy, who wants to destroy us in whatever way he can.

So, memorize this week’s verse, and be sure to do what it says every day of your life.
For in these last days we need God’s protection to keep ourselves safe from the devil.

Scripture Memorization-Enduring To The End–Week 4

This Week’s Memory Verse:
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  Ephesians 6:11 NKJV

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Ephesians 6:13 NKJV

Believers, if we are going to endure to the end and stand firm in our faith, we have to realize that we must daily always stay alert because we have an enemy who is constantly trying to cause us to fall.
In today’s verse we see that we must be able to stand against the “wiles of the devil”.  Wiles is defined as: cunning arts, deceit, craft, trickery.  It means that the devil is always following us around, lying in wait, trying to trip us up, trying to cause us waver in our faith, trying to trick us or lead us astray.  He is very crafty and cunning and so that is why God says we need to put on the whole armour, so that every part of us is covered daily and in that way we can stand firm.

This week lets memorize these two verses and also take action to do them daily, so that we will be found standing, strong in our faith, when Christ returns.

Nuggets of Truth–Scripture Memory Verse–W

Gold Letter WThis Week’s Memory Verse:
Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!
Psalm 27:14 NKJV

This Week’s Message:
Wait doesn’t just mean to languish or sit dejectedly, it means to expect, place all your hope in, look for the LORD–the One True God-Jehovah! It means to prevail, stand strong, press on.
It means to gather together all your faith and encourage yourself in His word. The root word for wait is actually to bind together or twist, quite like the stands of a rope are put together.
Therefore, we could look at our waiting time as one where we bind all our beliefs in God and His word together into a strong rope which we then hang onto and look for Him to come to us.
When we do that, He will come, He will strengthen us, He will build us up even more. He will confirm His word to be true to our hearts, our inner man, He will make us even stronger and bring us His assurance. Let’s wait on Him in this way and see what He does for us!

Let’s Memorize this verse and then put it into Action!
