Waiting on the Lord

Isaiah=40.31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31  KJV

Waiting on the Lord is most beneficial for us in many ways, for only He knows the plans He has for us, so as we wait on Him, He will strengthen us and prepare us to do the works He has planned for us to do in His timing.

Memorize this verse to encourage yourself to wait on the Lord, and give Him thanks for renewing your strength as you wait.

Waiting on the Lord

Psalm 37:7

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him,

Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,

Psalm 37:7  NKJV

Memorize this verse to remind yourself to trust in the Lord always
and as you wait, be patient, don’t fret, rest in Him,  don’t be focusing on others who may be doing better than you,
just trust and know that the Lord will bring His will to pass for you in His time.

Waiting on the Lord

Psalm-130.5

I wait for the LORD,
my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope.
Psalm 130:5  NKJV

Memorizing His word helps us to wait on Him, for His word strengthens us and gives us hope.
Memorize this verse and repeat it to yourself whenever you feel yourself growing weary of waiting,
for it will remind you to trust in Him and His word to you.

Waiting on the Lord

Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day.

Update: New Memory Verse Theme

Hello Fellow Memorizers:

Tomorrow, March 7, 2021 we will be beginning a new set of memory verses titled” Waiting on the Lord”

I am feeling these verses about waiting will be very relevant to us during these times we are in, for during these days of uncertainty and unrest, we are all seeking the Lord’s help, hope and strength to endure as we seek better days for ourselves and the world we live in here on earth.

I hope you will continue to memorize with us each week.

Blessings to you daily,
