GOD’S LOVE.
As you light your first, second, third, and fourth candles of Advent, take time to ponder this verse:
This is real love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:10.
God’s Love is real love. God loved us before we were ever born. He loved us while we were sinners, who didn’t know Him. He loved us with an un-conditional love, sacrificial love, everlasting love, a love that is so real that we can’t even imagine it. We believers who have believed and received Jesus as our Savior and Lord, are most blessed to experience the joy of His love.
As the Advent candles of LOVE, JOY, PEACE, and HOPE, burn bright and chase the darkness away, let’s give thanks, and praise to God, for His real love.
