His Peace.
As you light your first and second candles of Advent, take time to ponder this verse:
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. John 14:27.
Today, just take some time to stop and rest in the peace Jesus gives. Don’t let any troubles enter your heart. Quiet your mind, don’t be afraid of anything, just rest in His peace.
In this chaotic world, peace is so needed, yet many do not know the only One who can bring peace to their minds and hearts. We believers in Christ know, and
we should take time to seek His peace, and rest in His peace daily, so we can be so filled with His peace that we can share it with everyone we meet in our little corner of the world.
As the Advent candles burn bright and chase the darkness away, ponder upon the Peace of Jesus which surpasses all understanding.
