LORD OF PEACE.
As you light your first and second candles of Advent, take time to ponder this verse:
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all. 1 Thessalonians 3:16.
Pondering upon this verse, the Lord of peace, who is Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, He Himself will give me peace always, by all means.
To me that means, no matter where I am, or what my circumstances are, Jesus will give me His peace, which surpasses all understanding.
He Himself will do that for me, for no one else can, because He is the Prince of Peace, the Lord of Peace. As a believer, I am so blessed.
As the Advent candles of Hope and Peace burn bright and chase the darkness away, give thanks that you, as a believer, will always have the peace that Jesus gives, and rest in peace in Him tonight.
