HOPE is a Promise.
As you light your first candle of Advent reflect upon this scripture:
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)Â Â Hebrews 10:23.
Yes, God is faithful to His Promises. If He has promised something, you can count on it happening somehow, someway, in His timing.
So, hold fast, keep the faith, do not doubt, for “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Numbers 23:19.
As the Advent candle burns bright and chases the darkness away, so let Hope fill your heart today with the knowledge that God is always faithful to His promises.
