{"id":81,"date":"2025-12-16T00:08:30","date_gmt":"2025-12-16T00:08:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/advent\/?p=81"},"modified":"2025-11-24T03:23:03","modified_gmt":"2025-11-24T03:23:03","slug":"advent-day-16-exceeding-great-joy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/advent\/index.php\/2025\/12\/16\/advent-day-16-exceeding-great-joy\/","title":{"rendered":"Advent Day 16."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EXCEEDING GREAT JOY.<br \/>\nAs you light your first, second, and third candles of Advent, take time to ponder this verse:<br \/>\n<em>When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.\u00a0<\/em> Matthew 2:10.<\/p>\n<p>When the Wise Men saw His Star, they were marvelously glad, they were elated, that they had found the One they had been searching for, and they abundantly rejoiced.<br \/>\nImagine how they must have felt after traveling all that way, enduring who knows what on their journey, only following a star which they believed was the star of the King of the Jews,<br \/>\nand then seeing the star stop, and shine down on the place where Jesus lay.\u00a0 They must&#8217;ve been elated to have found the One they had been searching for, and indeed they would have <em>rejoiced with exceeding great joy!\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em>Perhaps quite like we believers did when we found Him, our Savior, the One who our hearts had been searching for.<\/p>\n<p>As the Advent candles of JOY, PEACE, and HOPE burn bright and chase the darkness away, rejoice with exceeding great joy that you have found Jesus, and He is your King, Lord, and Savior!<\/p>\n<p>Blessings in Christ,<br \/>\nSGLY Ministry.
