{"id":1033,"date":"2025-12-11T00:08:51","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T08:08:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/devotionals\/?p=1033"},"modified":"2025-12-07T22:21:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-08T06:21:07","slug":"dec-11-christmas-countdown-day-11","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/devotionals\/dec-11-christmas-countdown-day-11\/","title":{"rendered":"Dec.11-Christmas Countdown\u2014Day 11"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em><u>DAY<br \/>\n<\/u><\/em><\/strong><em>This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.<\/em> Psalm 118:24<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Today&#8217;s Thought:<br \/>\n<\/u><\/strong>Somedays are not all that we expect them to be.\u00a0 Things may happen that upset our plans, or we get news that causes us to feel sad.<br \/>\nSometimes we just have to make ourselves be glad and rejoice.\u00a0 Sometimes we have to just look around at our circumstances and say: &#8220;Well, this is the day the Lord has made, and I am going to choose to rejoice and be glad, no matter what things seem or look like.&#8221;\u00a0 I have had to do that, and it always has brightened my day.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>REJOICE<br \/>\n<em>Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! <\/em>Philippians 4:4<\/li>\n<li>BE GLAD<br \/>\n<em>I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.<\/em> Psalm 9:2<\/li>\n<li>GIVE THANKS<br \/>\n<em>Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, His love endures forever.<\/em> 1Chronicles 16:34<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Today\u2019s Action:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Today, rejoice and be glad that you have today! Give the Lord thanks that you are alive to experience it.
