Sometimes, we do and do good works, and never see much recompense. Sometimes the enemy tries to discourage us into thinking the good we do is of no use. Sometimes it is just our own flesh wanting to become lazy, or sometimes the ways of the world tempt us to give up when we don&#8217;t see any gain. However, this verse should encourage us to keep on&#8211;for it tells us we shall win if we don&#8217;t get discouraged and give up. Someday we will see the harvest of our good deeds, if not here on earth, then we will in heaven. So, let&#8217;s keep on doing good, trusting in the Lord to give us good results in His due time, for really, we are working to bring Him the gain and glory, not us.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Prayer:<\/strong><br \/>\nDear God,<br \/>\nI am so thankful for Your word which encourages me and Your Spirit who strengthens me.<br \/>\nI want to focus on reaping and with Your help I can continue doing the good works You have prepared for me to do, for I have the power of Your Spirit within me to overcome weariness, doubt and discouragement.<br \/>\nI want to always: Remember this: <em>Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously<\/em>. 2 Corinthians 9:6.<br \/>\nSo, each day God, help me to stay strong and to continue generously doing good for You, so that my good works will someday reap a bountiful harvest that brings You glory and great gain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Action:<\/strong> Reap<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continue doing good as God instructs.<\/li>\n<li>Do not let yourself grow weary.<\/li>\n<li>Read God&#8217;s word daily for encouragement.<\/li>\n<li>Pray daily to be strengthened in your spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Scripture: And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
