MOUTH MEDICINE:<\/u><\/strong>
\nFor my mouth will speak truth; Proverbs<\/em>\u00a08:7
\nHe who speaks truth declares righteousness,<\/em> Proverbs 12:17<\/p>\n

TONGUE TALK:
\n<\/u><\/strong>For believers, speaking truth would be speaking what God’s word says.
\nSince Jesus said He was “The Truth” [John 14:6] we believers can be sure in Christ we are “in Truth” and so our words should reflect that.
\nFor the world, truth is often relative or hard to define. Some feel it is being honest, sincere, or speaking in good faith.
\nThese are good definitions of truth, but speaking truth really means speaking as God would speak.
\nTruth should be something upon which a person may confidently stake his life.<\/p>\n

In Psalm 40:11 David prayed that God’s truth would continually preserve him.
\nHe said: “Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O LORD; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”\u00a0 <\/em>John 14:6<\/p>\n

HEART HELP:
\n<\/u><\/strong>A Psalm of David.
\nLORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill?
\nHe who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart;<\/em> Psalm 15:1-2<\/p>\n

MY PRAYER FOR TODAY:
\n<\/u><\/strong>Dear God,
\nLead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; On You I wait all day.<\/em> \u00a0Psalm 25:4 [NKJV]<\/p>\n

Dear God,
\nI pray as David prayed to You so long ago.
\nI pray that Your mercy, lovingkindness and Truth (Jesus) will continually preserve me.<\/p>\n
