{"id":1336,"date":"2024-03-13T00:08:45","date_gmt":"2024-03-13T07:08:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/devotionals\/?p=1336"},"modified":"2024-03-11T16:48:18","modified_gmt":"2024-03-11T23:48:18","slug":"march-13-proverb-a-day-day-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/devotionals\/march-13-proverb-a-day-day-13\/","title":{"rendered":"March 13&#8211;Proverb A Day\u2014Day 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Proverb:<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>He who walks with wise men will be wise,<\/em> Proverbs 13:20<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Thought:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The old adage &#8220;<em>You are known by the company you keep&#8221; <\/em>seems to agree with this proverb.<\/p>\n<p>I think if I want to be wise, then I should spend time with those who are wise, because most of the time wise people will be seeking wisdom, knowledge and understanding, not following the foolish pursuits of the world.<\/p>\n<p>As a Believer I should be spending my time with other Believers who are seeking the Lord and His wisdom, for then I will be growing spiritually and walking wisely on the path the Lord has prepared for me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Today&#8217;s Action:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Today:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I will focus on walking wisely.<\/li>\n<li>I will choose my companions carefully.<\/li>\n<li>I will seek out friends who are wise spiritually.<\/li>\n<li>I will ask the Lord to give me His wisdom daily so that I can make wise choices regarding friendships.<\/li>\n<li>I will use all my time wisely for scripture says: <em>Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time, because the days are evil<\/em>.
