Eccl 7:18<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We were in a strange city, driving around looking for a place to stay the night, we had no idea of where to go or what might be a good area to avoid.<br \/>\nI was driving and others in the car kept offering me advice, turn here, stop there, but I was praying and asking the Lord for wisdom on what to do and where to go.\u00a0 As time wore on, others in the car became impatient and demanding, telling me we needed to find a place quickly, yet I stood firm on listening for the Lord\u2019s direction, and trusted in Him to lead and guide me to find the perfect place, and in the end, He did not fail me, we found the perfect place for that moment in time and for future moments in time.<\/p>\n<p>Message: <em>\u201c<\/em><em>If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.\u201d\u00a0 James 1:5\u00a0<\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nWhat are these verses saying to us?\u00a0 Well, in order to understand the Ecclesiastes 7:18 verse better we need to read the previous two verses (Eccl.7:16-17) which say<em>: &#8220;Be not overly righteous, and do not make yourself too wise&#8230;.Be not overly wicked, neither be a fool&#8230;.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">What Solomon is saying in these verses is that those who fear the Lord receive His wisdom on how to live daily.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Those who fear the Lord will receive guidance on how to speak and live righteously without being overly righteous and turning people off to the gospel and away from the truth because the Lord will give them the right words to say and the right time to say them.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Those who fear the Lord will not become too wise because they will be humble as they depend on the Lord and His wisdom, living in His will and not theirs.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">Those who fear the Lord have the ability to avoid evil and not be foolish in their ways because they have the Lord&#8217;s wisdom, guidance, protection and goodness.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left;\">So then, knowing all of this we see that those who fear the Lord will advance in their lives spiritually, physically and mentally.\u00a0 They will be learning and growing daily, advancing the Lord&#8217;s kingdom on earth and bringing Him glory by how they live their lives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a92023 SGLY Ministry www.smilegodlovesyou.org<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Showers of Blessings\u00a0 Day 3 Blessing:\u00a0 Advancement It is good that you should take hold of this, and from that withhold not your hand, for the one who fears God shall come out from both of them.
