Planting Spiritual Seeds\u2014Day 3–Comfort
\nThis is my comfort in my affliction, For Your word has given me life.<\/em> Psalm 119:50
\n<\/u><\/p>\n

Today\u2019s Spiritual Seed is bringing Comfort to someone.<\/p>\n

Who can you comfort today?\u00a0 \u00a0Who do you know that needs to be comforted?<\/p>\n

To comfort means to cheer up or console.<\/p>\n

Do you know someone who has been afflicted with some aliment or disease?\u00a0\u00a0 Perhaps you could call them to offer a word of hope by sharing a scripture verse with them.<\/p>\n

Do you know someone who has lost a loved one or favorite pet?\u00a0 Perhaps you could send them a sympathy card with a comforting scripture in it that would help to ease their grief.\u00a0 Just letting them know you are thinking of them in their time of sorrow will uplift and comfort them.<\/p>\n

Is there someone close to you going through a tough or troublesome time?\u00a0 Maybe offering them a helping hand would ease their worries and lift their load.<\/p>\n

Do you know a fellow believer who is struggling in their faith? Ask them if you can pray with them. Share an uplifting scripture with them, and\/or share with them any similar experience you might have had when or if your faith was tested.\u00a0 This will give them strength to carry on.<\/p>\n

God says His word is living and active, therefore inserting it into someone\u2019s life in some way will surely bring life, strength, comfort and hope to their day.<\/p>\n
