God\u2019s Grace \u00a0 Day 6
\n\u201cWe believe that we are all saved the same way, by the undeserved grace of the Lord Jesus.\u201d\u00a0 <\/em>Acts 15:11 NLT<\/p>\n

Message:
\nThese words were spoken by Peter the apostle of Jesus Christ at the Jerusalem Council where the Jews were in conflict regarding salvation for gentiles.\u00a0 They felt gentiles couldn\u2019t be saved because they weren\u2019t circumcised according to the law of Moses, but Peter disagreed saying that salvation comes only by grace of the Lord Jesus, not by any works or laws of man.<\/p>\n

As Paul said in Ephesians 2:8: \u00a0\u201c<\/em>For by grace you have been saved\u00a0through faith, and that not of yourselves;\u00a0it is\u00a0the gift of God,\u00b4<\/em> (even the faith isn\u2019t of ourselves, it is God who gave us that also!)\u00a0 Why? Because our salvation is \u201cnot of\u00a0<\/em>works, lest anyone should\u00a0boast.\u201d Ephesians 2:8
\nWe didn\u2019t earn it, we did nothing to receive it, it is a free gift given to us by God through Jesus Christ.\u00a0 That is the only way we are truly saved, for if salvation could be earned, why would Jesus have had to suffer and die on the cross?<\/p>\n

Our salvation is a gift of God, it is an undeserved favor (grace)<\/em> given to us through faith in Jesus Christ, our Savior.
\n\u201cBut God,\u00a0who is rich in mercy, because of His\u00a0great love with which He loved us,\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>even when we were dead in trespasses,\u00a0made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),<\/em>\u201d Ephesians 2:4-5<\/p>\n
