\nAnd he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, \u201cGod opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 James 4:6 NLT<\/p>\n

Message:
\nThe Amplified Bible expands on this verse to bring it to a better understanding, I think.<\/p>\n

But He gives us more and more grace [through the power of the Holy Spirit to defy sin and live an obedient life that reflects both our faith and our gratitude for our salvation]. Therefore, it says, \u201cGod is opposed to the proud\u00a0and\u00a0haughty, but\u00a0[continually]\u00a0gives\u00a0[the gift of]\u00a0grace to the humble\u00a0[who turn away from self-righteousness].\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 James 4:6 AMP<\/p>\n

Verse after verse tells us that God gives us more and more grace.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t it amazing!\u00a0 He gives us grace for salvation, then grace to defy sin, and then grace to live an obedient life!<\/p>\n

Stay humble saints, and continually give thanks to our great God who generously supplies us with grace to meet all our needs!<\/p>\n
