June 16-Heart for the Lord–Day 16–MEEK HEART
\n“But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.”<\/em> 1 Peter 3:4 KJV<\/p>\n

Today’s Thought:
\n<\/u>Jesus said in Matthew 11:29 that He had a meek and lowly heart.
\n\u201cTake My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest unto your souls.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

A Meek Heart is a heart that is patient and mild.
\nIt is submissive to God. It does not seek its own will but only God’s will.<\/p>\n

Let’s seek a Meek and Lowly Heart like Jesus had when He said: \u00a0\u201cFather, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless\u00a0not My will, but Yours, be done.\u201d\u00a0<\/em> Luke 22:42\u00a0 NKJV<\/p>\n

Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
\n<\/u>Dear Lord, today I ask that You create in me a Meek Heart.
\nI want a heart like Jesus had, one that is meek and lowly, one that seeks Your will, not mine.<\/p>\n

I want a Meek Heart that is treasured by You, for Your word says a meek and quiet spirit, is very precious in Your sight.<\/p>\n

So, dear Lord, today I seek the inward beauty of a Meek Heart, one that is submissive to Your will, gentle, patient and mild.<\/p>\n

For “the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.”<\/em> Psalm 37:11 NKJV<\/p>\n

Thank You Lord. Amen.<\/p>\n
