{"id":547,"date":"2023-08-09T00:08:25","date_gmt":"2023-08-09T07:08:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/devotionals\/?p=547"},"modified":"2023-09-01T18:05:05","modified_gmt":"2023-09-02T01:05:05","slug":"august-9-exhort-one-another","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smilegodlovesyou.org\/devotionals\/august-9-exhort-one-another\/","title":{"rendered":"AUGUST 9&#8211;EXHORT ONE ANOTHER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><u>A &#8220;One Anothering&#8221; Scripture and Thought<\/u><br \/>\n<em>but exhort one another daily, while it is called &#8220;Today,&#8221; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.<\/em> Hebrews 3:13<\/p>\n<p>Exhort means:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to caution<\/li>\n<li>to advise<\/li>\n<li>to urge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Believers should be advising one another daily in the ways of the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>We should be cautioning one another about sin.<\/p>\n<p>We should be urging one another to keep focused on the Lord and His way and will&#8230;while it is called &#8220;Today&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><u>ONE-ANOTHERING IN ACTION:<\/u><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today&#8221; means &#8220;this very day&#8221; or now, the present time we are in.<\/p>\n<p>Each day we have an opportunity to &#8220;one another&#8221; with our brothers and sisters in Christ.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s be sure to seize that opportunity today and exhort one another so none of us will be deceived by sin or hardened against God.<\/p>\n<p><em>You must warn each other every day, as long as it is called &#8220;today,&#8221; so that none of you will be deceived by sin and hardened against God.<\/em> Hebrews 3:13<\/p>\n<p><em>Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season.
