So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.<\/em> Matthew 9:38<\/p>\n

Today let\u2019s pray for God to call people to be workers who will go out into their corner of the world and bring in lost souls to the kingdom.\u00a0 Harvesters don\u2019t go out planting seeds, or watering seeds.\u00a0 They don\u2019t nurture or tend, they reap.\u00a0 They bring in the souls that others may have planted a seed of truth in or counseled with the word.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0Jesus explains it in John 4:34-38:<\/p>\n

\u00a0Jesus explained: \u201cMy nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. You know the saying, \u2018Four months between planting and harvest.\u2019 But I say, wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest. The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!\u00a0 You know the saying, \u2018One plants and another harvests.\u2019 And it\u2019s true. I sent you to harvest where you didn\u2019t plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Dear Lord,
\nI pray that You will send more workers into the fields of the world to bring people to eternal life.\u00a0 I pray You will begin calling people to be harvesters for the kingdom.\u00a0 I pray that You will touch people\u2019s minds and hearts with the love of the gospel so that they will go out into the world and bring in a great harvest of souls for You.Thank You, Lord of the Harvest.\u00a0 In Jesus name I pray.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
