Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.<\/em>\u00a0 Matthew 6:10<\/p>\n

Today we are praying for God\u2019s will to be done in our lives.\u00a0 As believers, we all want to be living in God\u2019s will and doing the things that He has purposed for us to do, walking with Him daily on His path and seeking His wisdom and guidance. There are many bible verses telling us what God\u2019s will is, but what exactly does it mean for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven?
\nI believe Jesus was saying that God\u2019s will should be done here on earth perfectly and completely and without resistance as it is done in heaven.\u00a0 Therefore, we need to know what God\u2019s will is for our lives and to pray for the strength and wisdom to do it perfectly, completely and without resistance daily.\u00a0 We can learn to know what God\u2019s will is for our lives by reading His word and by asking Him to reveal it to us.<\/p>\n

Dear God,
\nAs a believer in Christ, I want to do Your will here on earth as it is done in heaven.\u00a0 Please let me know what Your will for me is, God, and then help me to do it daily.\u00a0 Some things I read in Your word about Your will on earth is to do good and not evil, \u00a0to bring glory to Your name, to preach the gospel, heal the sick, help the poor, and to set the captives free as Jesus said He was anointed to do in Isaiah 61:1 \u201cThe Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, Because the Lord has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 and there are many more things also regarding Your will.\u00a0 I just need to know what specific thing or things, You might want me to do today God, for Jesus also said\u00a0 in John 14:12 :“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.\u201d <\/em>, therefore, I believe it is Your will for us believers to do the works Jesus did when He was on earth.\u00a0 In that case, I need Your strength, wisdom, and power God so that I can obediently do the things you want me to do to bring glory to Your name.<\/p>\n

So I pray Father God, that You show and tell me what Your will is for me and my life today.\u00a0 I want to do Your will perfectly, completely and without resistance here on earth, but I need You to help me do that.\u00a0 Thank You God.\u00a0 In Jesus\u2019 name I pray.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n
