But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute\u00a0<\/em>you, Matthew<\/i>\u00a05:44<\/p>\n

Today might be a difficult day for some of us because we are being called to pray for those, we have had conflict with.\u00a0 It is often very hard to pray for those we are at odds with, or those who we regard as enemies, but Jesus tells us we need to not only pray for them, but we are to love them, bless them and do good to them.\u00a0 This goes against our human nature, but if we are a Christ follower we must obey and try our best to do as Jesus says.<\/p>\n

If the person you have had a conflict with is a fellow believer, pray that you can be reconciled and so walk in unity, for God does not want us , who are brothers and sisters in Christ, to be divided.\u00a0 If the person you are in conflict is a non-believer, pray for their salvation and ask God for ways you might witness to them by showing them love and goodness.\u00a0 Pray also for yourself, that God will give you the strength, words and wisdom to be obedient in this matter.<\/p>\n

Dear Lord,
\nToday I am praying for those I consider my enemies or those with whom I have had a conflict with.\u00a0 I want to be obedient to love, bless, do good, and pray for these people, but I need Your strength to do so Lord.\u00a0 So please give me Your strength and wisdom on what I should do.\u00a0 Thank You Lord, for Your love, kindness, mercy and forgiveness to me.\u00a0 Please help me to do the same to those who I have had conflicts with or those who are my enemies, for I don\u2019t want to be in conflict with anyone Lord.\u00a0\u00a0 Thank You Lord.\u00a0 Amen.<\/p>\n

Pray now for the person or persons you are experiencing conflict with and see what God does as you obey Him.<\/p>\n

But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil.<\/em>
