It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.<\/em>\u00a0 Hebrews 4:12<\/p>\n<p>Do you sometimes wonder how to really connect with God and experience His word working in your life? Since the bible says God&#8217;s Word is alive and powerful, we see that it can definitely be active in our life and it should be.\u00a0 We should be experiencing God\u2019s Word at work in our lives daily.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some ways we can pray for God\u2019s word to be real in our lives.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u>Pray Scripture<\/u><br \/>\nPray God\u2019s own words for His will to be done in any situation you are facing in your life. Praying Scripture back to God aligns your prayers with His promises and teachings.<br \/>\nPray His Promises over your life. Search for scriptures that apply to your situation and personalize them as you pray.\u00a0 Believe God\u2019s Word is alive and powerful and claim it for your needs.<\/li>\n<li><u>Ask for the Holy Spirit\u2019s Help<\/u><br \/>\nJesus said the Holy Spirit was our Helper, and that He would lead and guide us to all truth. He also said the Holy Spirit was our Comforter.\u00a0 Therefore, pray and ask the Spirit to help you understand and apply God\u2019s word in your life. Pray for the Spirit\u2019s power to live out the truths you find in Scripture.<br \/>\nPray and ask the Spirit to lead and guide you and comfort you in all things.<\/li>\n<li><u>Thank God for Giving Us His Word<\/u><br \/>\nPray a prayer of gratitude to God for giving us His word and all the wisdom, help, comfort and joy it provides. Thank Him for revealing Himself through the scriptures and for giving us a sure word of truth to stand on.
