A Precious Promise: Victory<\/u><\/strong>
\nBut thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.<\/em>1 Corinthians 15:57<\/p>\n

Thoughts:
\n<\/u><\/strong>Believers, in Christ we have Victory from sin and over death. Jesus won that victory for us on the Cross.<\/p>\n

Colossians 2:14-16 tells us what God did when Jesus died on the cross.<\/p>\n

“He canceled the record that contained the charges against us.
\nHe took it and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ’s cross.
\nIn this way, God disarmed the evil rulers and authorities.
\nHe shamed them publicly by His victory over them on the cross of Christ.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Believers, <\/i>“overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.”\u00a0<\/em> Romans 8:37<\/p>\n

Christ is the victor over sin and death, and because we belong to Him, that victory is ours also.
\nSo, let’s live by faith in the victory we have been given!<\/p>\n

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.<\/em>\u00a0 1 John 5:4<\/p>\n

Prayer: <\/u><\/strong>
\nDear God,
\nthank You for this promise of victory!<\/p>\n

It is so exciting to see that I can live in victory daily because of my faith in Christ.
\nAll I need do is remember who I am in Christ, believe it, and live it out in faith.<\/p>\n

So, when temptation knocks or fear tries to seek in, I can slam the door, because in Christ I have the victory!<\/p>\n

Thank You God for what You have done, what You are doing, and what You will do in my life.<\/p>\n

In Jesus name, I pray. Amen<\/p>\n
