Peace on Earth.
As you light your first and second candles of Advent, take time to ponder this verse:
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Luke 2:14.
Peace on earth is what we long for, especially in these trying times. Those who know Jesus know peace, for His peace surpasses all understanding.
Jesus is the Prince of Peace, born to bring peace and goodwill to all on earth. Those who believe in Him, and receive Him as Lord and Savior, will be blessed with His peace,
for He says: “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27.
As the Advent candles burn bright and chase the darkness away, ponder upon Jesus who is the Prince of Peace that came to earth to bring peace and goodwill to all.
