It takes two to argue.
If someone is angry, the best thing to do is to reply to them calmly and softly. Harsh words will stir up their anger, but most of the time, speaking soft, kind, words will calm them down.

- I will remember this scripture if someone is speaking harshly to me.
- I will try to speak softly at all times.
- I will not argue.
- I will pray and ask the Lord to give me the right words to speak.
