Blessing: Provision For All Needs
Oh, fear the LORD, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him. Psalm 34:9NKJV
Message:
There have been a few times in my life that I have been very low on money and my cupboards were kind of sparse, but I have never been completely broke nor without what I needed to survive. I do know what it is like to be hungry and not have much food, but I have never been starving nor had to beg bread. I have always trusted in the Lord to provide for me, and He always has because I have feared Him, followed Him and obeyed Him. During those times that I was low on money or my cupboards were kind of sparse, I sat down and did a personal inventory of what the reason could be, and it was because I had foolishly spent money in some way or hadn’t been wise in my spending, and I had to repent of not being frugal, however, the Lord still provided enough for me to continue to survive. I am so thankful that I have the Lord and His many blessings. I just can’t imagine living a life here on earth without Him!
This has always been one of my favorite verses.
I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging for bread Psalm 37:25
It is a good verse to memorize as a reminder not to worry if you are one of the Lord’s saints who fears Him.
We who fear the LORD are His saints, not because of our own righteousness, but because we are in Christ and we choose to follow the LORD and do His will, therefore, we will have His provision for all our needs, for today’s verse says: There is no want to those who fear Him.
…those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. Psalm 34:10 NKJV
