A Psalms Prayer Pocket for when I am in a: CALAMITY
They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the Lord was my support. Psalm 18:18 (NKJV)
A Calamity is a great misfortune or disaster. It can be devastating and turn our world upside down, but for us who know the Lord, it should be a time that we run to Him for comfort and help. For it is during this time that we need to be strong in our faith and believe that God will not only deliver us out of our troubles in due time, but He will sustain us and support us in the meantime. It might be a difficult time of hardship and not easy to endure but be assured God will be with you through it all to help you, for He will never forsake you.
Pocket Prayer:
Dear Lord, today I am in a Calamity because______________________(tell the Lord what your calamity is today.)
Dear Lord, I will not fear this calamity that has come upon me, for I know You will support me.
I know You will help me, encourage me and vindicate me.
I know I can count on You when people confront me, and I know this day too shall pass, but You, Lord, will be with me always.
You will not cast me away, nor forsake me so I need not fear this calamity because my help comes from the You, Lord, the One who made heaven and earth and me.
My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2 (NKJV)
For the LORD will not cast off His people, Nor will He forsake His inheritance. Psalm 94:14 (NKJV)
