Planting Spiritual Seeds—Day 23—Scatter

In the morning sow your seed, and at evening withhold not your hand, for you do not know which will prosper, this or that, or whether both alike will be good.
Ecclesiastes 11:6 ESV

Today’s Seed is: Scatter

Today we will be scattering spiritual seeds everywhere we go.  We will not be thinking about it, we will just scatter them, for “He who observes the wind will not sow, and he who regards the clouds will not reap.” Ecclesiastes 11:4 ESV, therefore we will not think about where, how or when, we will just scatter seeds.

So prepare yourself by writing out some scriptures on salvation and placing them in your pockets. Then scatter them about wherever you go today.  At work, at school, shopping, dining out, just place them somewhere or give them to someone.  You could tuck one into a book at school or the library, leave one on a shelf in a store, place one in a public restroom, leave one for your server with a tip, put one into a pocket at a clothing store, hand one out to the next person you meet on the street.  There are many ways to randomly scatter spiritual seeds.

Today, “Cast your bread upon the waters,…”  Ecclesiastes 11:1 ESV, and then pray God brings the person that needs it to find it, for He says His word shall not return void.  “…so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.”
Isaiah 55:11 ESV
