Planting Spiritual Seeds—Day 25—Speak
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. Proverbs 12:25 ESV
Today’s Seed is: Speak
Today we will be speaking our seeds. Our seeds will be our words. They will be good words, encouraging words, pleasant words that uplift heavy hearts, and bring hope to those who are anxious.
We all love good words, and we all need to hear them, especially during times of sadness, sickness or trouble. They can change our mood and make a difference in our day.
So, determine to speak only good words today to everyone. Put on a smile and a happy heart and share an encouraging word with someone who looks depressed or anxious. If they are a brother or sister in Christ, remind them that they are not alone, that God is near and always ready to help. Speak some uplifting scriptures to them and offer to pray with them.
Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweet and delightful to the soul and healing to the body. Proverbs 16:24 AMP
If the person is not a believer, use this as an opportunity to speak the good news gospel with them, this might just be the time in their life that they will listen and accept Christ.
