SPIRITUAL VITAMIN G: GIVE
“Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” –

Today’s Thought:
When Jesus spoke these words, He was speaking to his disciples, teaching them about giving forgiveness, love and grace, he was not speaking about giving money. At the time He was talking about loving your enemies and not judging, therefore, if we look at this verse in context He would be saying as you give love, mercy and forgiveness, it will be given back to you even more so.
There are many other verses in scripture that talk about giving of your time, talent and treasure, so we see there are many ways we can give.
“And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. “– Jesus Matthew 5:41-42 NKJV
Today’s Action: Give
Today focus on giving in many ways.
Give love, mercy and forgiveness.
Be generous with your time, talent and treasure.
Give thanks and praise to God who has given us so much.
As you give you will not only be helping others, but you will also be honoring God and pleasing Him and all that will cause you to feel an inner joy and happiness that only cheerful giving can bring. For as you give you will be spiritually energized, and you will become more spiritually healthy. So, take your Spiritual Vitamin G today and give generously wherever you go to whomever you meet.
