SPIRITUAL VITAMIN U : UPRIGHT
“upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way” Psalm 25:8 NKJV
Today’s Thought:
- UPRIGHT means: Honest and Just
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; [He is] a shield to those who walk uprightly; Proverbs 2:7 - “and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ,
the righteousness which is from God by faith;” Philippians 3:9 [NKJV]
Our Lord is upright and in Christ we believers can be also. We are clothed in His righteousness and given His Spirit who teaches us how to walk in His way.
“I am overwhelmed with joy in the LORD my God!
For he has dressed me with the clothing of salvation and draped me in a robe of righteousness.
I am like a bridegroom in his wedding suit or a bride with her jewels. ” Isaiah 61:10 NLT
Today’s Action:
There are many scriptures on Uprightness.
Do a word search in the Bible on “upright” you will find many scriptures that will encourage you as you read the all the blessings promised for the upright.
However, keep in mind that only in Jesus can we truly be upright, for He is our righteousness.
Today let’s be open to receiving teaching on uprightness from the Lord.
Through His word, the Holy Spirit will teach us the right way to live.
Let’s pray and read His word for instructions, then go out and model Him in all we say and do.
We will then reflect His uprightness and be His model in this world daily.
