Walk in Truth.
Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
This verse from Psalm 86 is part of David’s prayer to God, probably when he was being persecuted by Saul.
David was asking God to preserve his life and to show him mercy, he was seeking divine guidance in what he should do daily. He was asking God to teach him His way so he could walk in God’s truth.
Years later, God sent His only Son, Jesus, to earth to teach His truth, to offer abundant life, and show people the right way to walk.
Jesus said in John 14:6 ” I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”
Today we can walk in truth by following Jesus, who is the way, the truth, and the life.
