June 23–Heart for the Lord–Day 23–STEADFAST HEART
“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast, I will sing and give praise.” Psalm 57:7 NKJV
Today’s Thought:
A Steadfast Heart is firm in its belief. It is fixed on the truth of God’s word.
It is constant; it does not let circumstances control it. It is focused, fixed and firm, 100% on God.
No wonder it can sing and give praise at all times!
Prayer of the Heart to the Lord:
Dear Lord,
today I ask that You create in me a Steadfast Heart so I can sing and give You praise at all times! I want a heart that is firmly fixed and focused on You Lord.
I want a heart that is constant in all circumstances because it is confident in You!
Then I will be able to say as David said in Psalm 108:1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
